On the 3rd and 4th of November Ryazan museums are entering an All-Russian event

On the 4th and 5th of November Russia will be involved in the Arts Night — an event that annually covers the whole country. This year’s motto is stated as «Time to create». The main activities of the event are dedicated to the Year of Russian Cinema and National Unity Day. In the Ryazan Region the Arts Night starts on the 3rd of November.
On the 3rdand 4th of November Ryazan museums will welcome their visitors with special programs. In the evening of the 3rd of November the guests of the Kasimov Historical and Architectural Museum Reserve will be able to view a new animated program Kasimov Sketches, visitexhibitions Tatar Quarter, Beloved Land, I Dream of You and others, participate in a Tatar tea party and master classes devoted to weaving and making of a charm doll.
On the 3rdof November the expositions of Sergey Esenin State Museum Reserve will work till 8 p.m. They will be free to attend after 6 p.m. At 3 p.m. in the cinema and concert hall of the museum the show of the motion pictures devoted to the life and work of Sergey Esenin starts:
3 p.m. — Sergey Esenin (1965), a documentary and feature film directed by Boris Karpov and Pavel Rusanov. The film explores Sergey Esenin’s life from the very moment he leaves his family home. With the help of rare documentaries, genuine documents and evidence of witnesses a complicated world of the poet’s creativity and spiritual quest is exposed.
4 p.m. — A Golden Head on the Block (2004), a feature film directed by Semyon Ryabikov, a story about the last and the most difficult years of Sergey Esenin’s life.
5 p.m. — Sing Your Song, Poet (1971), a feature film directed by Sergey Urusevsky. The movie consists of several novels about Sergey Esenin’s life and work. One can listen not only to the most famous and touching of his poems, but also his Anna Snegina. The roles of the main characters of this poem were performed by Natalya Belokhvostikova and Sergey Nikonenko.

On the 4thof November from 6 to 11 p.m. the Ryazan Kremlin invites everyone for a free visit to the museum’s expositions and exhibitions. At 6.30 a presentation of the children’s Archeological Club starts. The adult Archeological Club opens at 8 p.m.
The event will include an opening of a new animated program Porridge Forever that involves tasting samples of the Russian cuisine. One can attend the program by previous appointment for 620 roubles.
From 6 to 8 p.m. guests can take part in a variety of master classes introduced by Ryazan artists — goldsmith Ivan Yagodkin, Ivan Belozyorov, Elena and Alexander Sviridov.
Ryazaners and guests of the town are also invited to enjoy romantic views of Ryazan at night. The bus tour can be taken by previous appointment.
